The Business Development Bank of Canada provides an array of tools and articles which you can use as an employee, employer, prospective entrepreneur or long time business owner. 

 

E-BUSINESS TOOLKIT

E-business is the use of Internet technology to facilitate doing business. This toolkit demonstrates that not all e-business activities have to be complex or costly to achieve benefits. CANADA BUSINESS 

Canada Business promotes entrepreneurship and innovation, and provides assistance through an organized network of service centres across Canada. There is a centre in each province and territory working with partners in many communities across their region, providing you with numerous service access points.

 

THE BUSINESS CENTER – NIPISSING PARRY SOUND

Provides support for small enterprises during their first through fifth years of operation in Nipissing and Parry Sound by offering easy access to business consulting services and information concerning market research, business planning, management, marketing, technology and financing.

 

 

COMMUNITY FUTURES DEVELOPMENT CORPORATIONS

Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs) support local economic development by assisting Ontario’s rural and northern communities to strengthen and diversify their economies.

 

 

NORTHERN ONTARIO HERITAGE FUND

The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) is working to build strong, prosperous northern communities and we are pleased to offer unique programs to help foster hope and opportunity across Northern Ontario.

 

 

INNOVATION INITIATIVES ONTARIO NORTH

Innovation Initiatives Ontario North (IION) is a not-for-profit organization, a member of the Northern Technology Alliance, and is a proud member of the Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs (ONE). IION is located in North Bay at Nipissing University /Canadore College, and leads an effective local regional resource alliance serving clients with funders, researchers and city stakeholders.
